Sarki Bello Becomes Substantive Supreme Court Chief Registrar

Hajo Sarki Bello has been confirmed as the substantive Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court where she will continue to handle the general administration of the court.

Bello was in August last year appointed as the Acting Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court from the position of a Deputy Chief Registrar to replace Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha who retired on August 8, 2021.

In that position, Bello is expected to assist the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, in discharging his administrative duties.

Meanwhile, Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger State has felicitated Sarki Bello on her confirmation as the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court.

Governor Sani-Bello, in a congratulatory message, by his Chief Press Secretary, Mrs Mary Noel-Berje expressed delight seeing a Nigerlite and a woman rising to the peak of her chosen career.

The governor who saluted her diligence, commitment, resilience and doggedness in all she does, acknowledged that she has made the state and the entire womenfolk proud for being successful in her career.
