I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Chief Kolawole Okeaya Inneh SAN, a father and legal luminary, who was the nation’s most senior Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in the South-South geopolitical region.

Chief Inneh was a legal colossus, a dedicated family man whose achievements within and beyond legal practice served as inspiration to the many lives he touched.

Enigmatic and charismatic, the learned silk always stood for justice and fairness, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals, especially the downtrodden in society.

In his resounding belief in family values, Late Inneh instilled the virtues of honesty and hard work in his children, blessing the state and nation with both a SAN and a judge, among others.

Even in passing, we celebrate the late jurist for living a life of excellence, in service to God and humanity and we will miss him for his conviviality, sagacity and tireless contributions to the state and the nation.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Okeaya-Inneh family, as well as loved ones, friends and associates and pray that God grants all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
