Tunde Ayeni Disputes Authenticity of DNA Certificate Released by Adaobi Alagwu

The ongoing paternity dispute between businessman Dr Tunde Ayeni and Abuja-based lady Ms Adaobi Alagwu has resurfaced following the release of a DNA certificate, which Dr Ayeni has described as compromised and unreliable.
In a press statement he personally signed, Dr Ayeni said: “This document does not reflect the genuine results we expected. It became necessary to address this matter publicly due to the inconsistencies we observed during the testing process.”
He explained: “The result was initially scheduled for release within five days. However, a letter later surfaced, purportedly from the testing centre, extending the date by two days. Upon contacting the centre directly, we were informed that they had no knowledge of the letter or the individual who signed it. This raised significant concerns about the integrity of the process.”
Dr Ayeni further alleged that the testing process may have been compromised through unauthorised access to email accounts linked to the accredited laboratory.
He stated: “We discovered irregularities suggesting that an external party may have accessed our email communication with the laboratory. As a result, we lost confidence in the process and sought a new test from a different facility, which Ms Alagwu declined.”
He added: “The matter is now before the court, and we trust the legal system to address the situation based on the evidence presented.”
