The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has announced the appointment of Honourable Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye, PhD,  as a Visiting Professor in the university.

Honourable Justice Omolaye-Ajileye, a jurist and scholar of unparalleled repute, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will undoubtedly enrich the academic landscape of NOUN, a communication from the Registrar of the university, Mr. Oladipo A. Ajayi said on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

“His illustrious career in the judiciary, coupled with his significant contributions to legal scholarship, makes him a valuable addition to our academic community.

”As a Visiting Professor, Hon. Justice Omolaye-Ajileye will engage with our students and faculty, sharing his insights, knowledge, and experiences garnered over years of dedicated service to the legal profession.

“We believe that his presence will inspire and elevate the academic pursuits of our university community,” the memo said.

It stated that the university warmly welcomes Honourable Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye and expressed gratitude for his willingness to contribute to the intellectual vibrancy of NOUN.

“We are confident that his tenure as a Visiting Professor will be marked by academic excellence, enriching both our students and faculty,” said the registrar.
