Nigerian Law School Lecturer Passes Away

Dr. Abraham Afolayan, a distinguished criminal litigation lecturer at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, has passed away.

Afolayan, who was attending an event in town on behalf of the Director General, suddenly collapsed. His body was brought back to the Law School clinic on Tuesday afternoon.

Described as a father figure and mentor to many students, Afolayan was known for his exceptional teaching skills in criminal litigation and for imparting wisdom and kindness, dedication to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals.

Former students fondly remember Dr. Afolayan as the guiding light of their legal careers. Many credit him with instilling in them the values of ethics and professionalism that are essential in the legal field.
