A new group of lawyers has officially joined Nigeria’s legal profession following their Call to Bar ceremony, marking a major milestone in their careers and entry into Africa’s largest Bar.

Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., former National Secretary of the NBA Young Lawyers’ Forum and past National 1st Assistant General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), congratulated the newly called lawyers and offered guidance for their journey ahead.

In his message, Ohagba encouraged the new lawyers to seek mentorship from experienced professionals, identify role models who demonstrate excellence and integrity, and explore opportunities in the global, technology-driven legal landscape. He urged them to innovate, remain open to learning, and strive for excellence in all their endeavors.

“We have confidence in your potential and are committed to supporting you every step of the way,” Ohagba said.

The ceremony underscores the importance of dedication, professionalism, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge in the legal field. It marks both the culmination of years of study and the beginning of a promising career for Nigeria’s newest legal practitioners.
