A frontline constitutional lawyer and human right activist Chief Mike A. A Ozekhome SAN as Keynote speaker during the 2022 Gabriel Adikwu Annual Lecture titled Constitutional Conundrum said Nigeria can become one country that we all want.

He said if Nigerians can ensure peace and co habit with one another irrespective of ethnic and religious background the country can become the country everyone’s dream to have.

Mike addressed learned colleagues during an annual lecture organized by Barr Gabriel Adikwu and co in Yola has reiterated Peace and unity as panacea to development.

“We must recognize each other’s differences, each other’s strengths, each other’s weaknesses.

“We must embrace peace, the peace that is not from the graveyard the cemetery has the most peaceful area on earth.

” But that is not the kind of peace I’m talking about. It’s peace with egalitarianism, with mutual respect with social justice, with equity, with good conscience, it’s the kind of peace we all want to embrace.” He said

He cautioned that Nigerians should not take peace for granted, and warned that it will be like a mad man roaming the streets if peace is not taken serious.

“We continue learning to keep the fragile peace with our lips service, but how long will it take us to learn.?” He said
