The Convener of Duty Solicitors Network (DSN) Bayo Akinlade Esq paid a visit to Mr. Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN who is the Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association Security Agencies Relations Committee (NBA-SARC).

This meeting was necessitated by the recent happenings around the Police harassment of Lawyers who go to represent their clients in police custody.

A strategic alliance between NBA-SARC and DSN was discussed extensively as the two agreed to work closely to ensure that the rights of citizens are upheld by the Nigerian Police.

Bayo Akinlade Esq noted that he is very excited about the partnership with NBA-SARC when he said “I can’t wait to work with Mr. Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN on this intervention. Mr. Ikwuazom and I were both Chairmen of our respective NBA Branches at the same time around 2018 and it will be great for us to work together again on this initiative”
