NACCIMA appoints ACCI 1st Deputy, Obegolu SAN, As National Vice-President
The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has appointed the 1st Deputy President Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu as a National Vice President of the Association.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the ACCI, Media/Strategy Officer, Olayemi John-Mensah, and made available to The Lawyer.
Chief Obegolu SAN, who also doubled as the Governing Council Chairman of the Nigerian Chambers of Commerce Dispute Resolution Centre ( NCC-DRC) in a congratulatory letter signed by the National President, John Udeagbala on behalf of NACCIMA Council members was recently elevated to the position of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Udeagbala said the decision to have a National Vice President in Abuja was due to the enormity of assignments at the Presidency level, a decision which was reached during the last quarter Council held on 18th November, 2021 at Benin, Edo State.
“We have no doubt that you will continue to bring your wealth of experience to bear on the Association for positive transformation.”
The President ACCI, Dr Al-Mujtaba Abubakar, the EXCO and Council members received the appointment of Chief Obegolu as a laudable one while praying for strength and wisdom in the delivery of his assignment at NACCIMA.
Dr Abubakar said, he knows that Chief Obegolu will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of his duty at NACCIMA the same way he has always delivered at ACCI.
