Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu Dissolves Cabinet, Sacks Aides

Ahead of the expiration of his first tenure Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the dissolution of the Lagos State executive council and the sacking of all political officeholders and aides.

Sanwo-Olu announced the council dissolution in a circular signed by Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the Lagos State head of service, on Wednesday.

The dissolution, according to the circular, takes effect from Friday, May 26, 2023.
