IGP Recommends ex-PPRO Mba, Owohunwa as Ogun, Lagos CPs

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has recommended Frank Mba and Idowu Owohunwa to the Police Service Commission for the office of Commissioners of Police, Ogun and Lagos Commands respectively.

This was contained in a document obtained by press on Thursday, signed by the Force Secretary, AIG Hafiz Inuwa, on behalf of the IGP.

The recommendations were yet to be approved by the PSC.

Mba, a former Force Public Relations Officer and Lagos PPRO, is currently the CP in charge of the Border Patrol Force, Force Headquarters, Abuja, prior to the IGP’s recommendation.

Owohunwa is a Principal Staff Officer to the IGP, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Studies and Policing from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
