Hoodlums have allegedly killed a military man identified as Major Churchill Orji at Azia, in Ihiala Local Council of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the soldier died during an operation in notorious Azia axis, in Ihiala. A schoolmate of the deceased, Leonard Edu, who confirmed the incident, yesterday, said the soldier is from Agulu area of the state.

Edu said: “He was my senior in Agulu Boys Secondary School. He was our labour prefect then. It’s true unknown gunmen at Azia, in Ihiala, killed him.

Also, another source reported that unknown gunmen killed a soldier, who is an Anambra indigene, Major C Orji, in Ihiala/Azia axis.
