The Galaxy Backbone (GBB) Ltd, says its four-year Integrated Digital Transformation Strategic (IDTS) Plan will focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainability in digital landscape to boost the nation’s economy.

The Head of Corporate Communications, GBB, Mr. Chidi Okpala made this known in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja.

Okpala said the comprehensive four-year strategic plan (2025-2028) was aimed at accelerating the integrated digital transformation Strategy (IDTS) plan for government and businesses in Nigeria.

He said the strategy was developed in collaboration with key stakeholders in the sector.

“This strategy is designed to enhance digital service delivery, strengthen connectivity, and support Nigeria’s vision of a fully integrated digital economy.

“The first focuses on building a resilient digital infrastructure; ensuring that government and businesses have access to secure, high-speed, and promoting scalable digital platforms.

“By building and maintaining a robust digital backbone, GBB aims to support the nation’s growing demand for seamless connectivity and data security.

“The second pillar, integrated digital ecosystems; fosters collaboration between government, businesses, and local communities, creating a more connected Nigeria,” he said.

Okpala said through the initiative, GBB would establish unified digital experience that enhanced communication, innovation and service delivery in order to meet the evolving demands of governance and business.

He said the strategy would prioritise innovative service delivery and ensure that digital solutions were tailored to address economic, social, and administrative needs.

Okpala further said while recognising the critical role of trust in the digital era, the fourth pillar of the strategy placed a strong emphasis on digital leadership and trust.

He said GBB was dedicated to fostering cybersecurity, transparency and accountability to ensure that Nigeria’s digital infrastructure was not only efficient but also secured and reliable.

“By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, GBB is committed to driving efficiency, economic growth, and improved public service delivery.

“To sustain long-term impact, the fifth pillar, Financial Sustainability; remains a key priority.

“By investing in innovative technologies and expanding its digital services, GBB aims to drive revenue growth while ensuring affordability and accessibility for all users.

“At its core, this strategic roadmap is designed to enhance government efficiency, boost economic development, and improve the overall digital experience for Nigerians,” he said.

He said that GBB was engaging with government agencies, private sector, international and local partners to foster collaboration as part of its commitment to achieving set goals.

“Through strategic partnerships, the organisation is poised to lead Nigeria into a new era of digital excellence, ensuring that businesses and government institutions alike are equipped for the future,” he said.
