  1. Application Procedure: Aspiring candidates are reminded that the official application process for the Bar Part 1 program necessitates meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to established procedures.
  2. Preferred Devices: Applicants are advised to utilize a laptop or computer, preferably using the Google Chrome browser, for optimal performance during the application process. It’s important to note that mobile devices or tablets may not provide an optimal experience.
  3. Password Reset: For applicants requiring password resets, it is strongly recommended to update email addresses and phone numbers beforehand. This precautionary measure is vital to facilitate smooth password recovery, should any password-related issues arise.
  4. Matric Number Input: Bar I students should input their examination number as their Matric Number when prompted during the application process.
  5. Payment Method: Applicants are urged to make the required application form fee payment through the Remita platform. To initiate payment, applicants can log on to https://www.remita.net and select “Council of Legal Education” as the biller. The application fee is set at N30,000.
  6. Support and Inquiries: For any assistance or further inquiries, applicants can reach out to the support team via email at [email protected].
  7. Document Submission: During the document submission phase, applicants are reminded to attach their application number and the name of their respective university. In cases of encountering error messages such as “SUCCESS” or “SOMETHING WENT WRONG,” applicants are advised to use the Firefox browser and avoid special characters such as ‘, “, &, $.
  8. Passport Picture Upload: Applicants should ensure that they scan a hard copy of their passport picture in jpg format for successful submission.
  9. Medical Documentation: Successful applicants are required to bring along their completed Medical Forms, including X-ray and other relevant medical documents, during their enrollment. These documents are essential prerequisites for the allocation of accommodation.
