Distinguished Colleague,

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), under the leadership of Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has introduced and commenced the issuance of digital Annual Practice Licenses to all legal practitioners who have paid their Annual Bar Practicing Fees as and when due for the Year 2025.

To this end, and to ensure the accuracy of your details while avoiding the issuance of Practice Licenses with incorrect information, you are hereby urged to verify and update your name on the NBA portal without delay.

Furthermore, all lawyers with pending name corrections or change-of-name issues on the NBA portal are advised to take immediate steps to resolve these issues with the Supreme Court as soon as possible, as the digital license will only be generated using the enrolled names on the Supreme Court database.

Members who have not received their digital licenses, or those who have received theirs with incorrectly arranged names, are advised to visit their respective portals to obtain a corrected version.

Additionally, members are encouraged to print, frame, and display their Practice Licenses in their respective law offices as evidence of their eligibility to practice.

For further assistance, please visit the NBA portal or contact the NBA helpdesk at [email protected].
