According to Osodeke, NLC has declared indefinite strike action beginning from Monday, 3rd June, 2024 as a result of the failure of government to conclude renegotiation of minimum wage for Nigerian wprkers and reversal of hike in electricity tariff. He said compliance wouldn’t be a difficult thing for all the seven universities in the zone and in all other zones to comply with.
