The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of a man and woman, said to be in a relationship, in an apartment at the Ojodu Berger axis of Lagos.

The State Police Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, a Superintendent of Police, confirmed the gory incident to journalists on Monday.

He explained that the unnatural death was reported to the Ojodu Police Division on Sunday at about 9:10am.

He, however, said the lifeless bodies of the couple, Adebayo Adeseko, 30, and Sarah Adesanya, 36, were found at their apartment at No. 8B, Gbete Street, off Shoyemi Bamaco Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

The Police image-maker asserted that on the strength of the information, a team of operatives from the station immediately went to the scene.

“Cops photographed the scene and evacuated the corpses to a mortuary for autopsy while an investigation into their death continued,” he stated.

The deceased Adeseko known as a filmmaker was said to have had an argument with his lover, which degenerated into a scuffle, resulting in his lover’s death.

Unverified sources claimed that Mr. Adeseko was billed to travel out of the country this week before the tragic incident that led to his demise and that of his lover.

As a result, the man allegedly stabbed himself and died after he discovered that the woman had given up the ghost.
