Tribunal Returns Suswam As Benue North-East Senator

The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has declared Senator Gabriel Suswam of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the Senatorial election for Benue North-East Senatorial District (Zone ‘A’)

The Tribunal returned Senator Suswam who had challenged the declaration of Senator Emmanuel Udende of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the 2023 elections.

However, Senator Suswam who had challenged the declaration of Udende was returned after a judgement that lasted for over three hours in Makurdi on Friday
