Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and counsel to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has disclosed that the union will call off its strike in a matter of days.

Falana on Monday in Lagos State made the disclosure at a book launch by media activist, Lanre Arogundade.

Speaking during the launch of the book titled, Breaking Coconut With Your Head, Falana said the ASUU strike would be called off in days and not weeks, following the order of the Court of Appeal.

He also disclosed that it is likely that the issues ASUU is having with the federal government would be resolved and the strike concluded outside the courtroom.
