NBA-NEC Meeting: NBA Account Hits N2bn; Leadership Plans To Offset All Inherited Debts

According to a statement from the recently held NBA-NEC meeting, the Nigerian Bar Association financial account hit Two billion Naira (N2,000,000,000) this year.

This was disclosed by the National Treasurer of the Association, Ijato Mercy Agada at the just held National Executive Council Meeting of the Association hosted in Abeokuta.

According to the disclosure, through financial prudence and proper management of the Association’s funds by the present leadership, her financial books have witnessed great improvements hitting a landmark balance of N2billion.

The NBA-NEC also expressed its intention to offset all inherited debts of the Association and also leave behind sufficient balance for the succeeding administration.

You would recall that as part of plans to centralise and make the finance of the Association transparent, the NBA-NEC recently resolved that all Bar Practice Fees will now be paid online.
