Body Of NBA Vice-Chairmen Commends NBA 1st VP, Aikpokpo-Martins, Over Inclusion Of Vice-Chairs In Advisory Committee For Amendment Of NBA Constitution

In a letter sighted by The Lawyer, Funmi Adeogun MCI Arb(UK) on behalf of the NBA Body of Vice-Chairmen wrote to the NBA 1st Vice President, Mr John O. Aikpokpo-Martins in order to appreciate him for making the office of the Vice Chairman more relevant in the Nigeria Bar Association.

He stated that Aikpokpo-Martins efforts in humanity service have assisted the Vice Chairmen by making valuable improvements which led to the inclusion of the Vice Chairmen in the Advisory Committee due to the amendments of the Constitution of the Nigeria Bar Association 2015(as amended in 2019 at the AGM which held in Port Harcourt.

He opined that the above act of Aikpokpo-Martins was the last meaningful change because prior to that time, Vice Chairmen weren’t initially considered in the proposed amendments.

In conclusion, the Body of Vice-Chairmen commended Aikpokpo-Martins for exalting the office of the Vice Chairmen and demanded for more assistance in projecting their office.
